Kissa Nikai is located on the second floor of a renovated traditional Japanese house, a ten-minute walk from Nippori Station, just beyond the neighborhood’s quaint streets.

The first floor is a specialty shop offering household items such as dishes. When you go up the stairs in the back, you will see the signboard of Kissa Nikai.

As you reach the second floor, you are welcomed by an all-blue space. The combination of the retro vibe of the renovated old house and the stylish interior with a blue color scheme creates a unique atmosphere.

With nostalgic tunes playing on vinyl and Showa-era items on display, the café exudes a comforting atmosphere.

Kissa Nikai’s famous menu items are Nikai’s Cream Soda and Nikai’s French Toast. Nikai’s Cream Soda is a soda float featuring yogurt ice cream on ramune-flavored soda. For Nikai’s French Toast, you can choose from four different flavors: espresso vanilla, banana caramel nuts, strawberry chocolate, and matcha chocolate. These two items also go well together.

As for soda floats, they serve over ten different flavors, including Melon Cream Soda and White Cream Soda. Enjoy your favorite flavor.

Nikai’s Mint Chocolate French Toast is a limited-time item. Featuring a refreshing flavor of mint that goes well with sweet chocolate, this hearty dessert is a must for those who love mint chocolate.
